Pre-race check in / briefing

This year we'll continue to raise funds for the Bowen Island Trail Society by offering the opportunity for a full 21 km Half Marathon race or a 3 person relay run on the same course as the Half Marathon.

We'd appreciate your registration for our event and any additional donation you would like to make in support of trail stewardship on Bowen Island's mountain trails. You're encouraged to share your event memories with us on social media with #Handloggers2022 on our Facebook event page and on Strava.

THIS YEAR’S EVENT WILL BE SANCTIONED BY BC ATHLETICS.

This year, we will be offering on course first aid and communication and a selection of finish line nutrition and hydration. The idea is to keep everyone safe and to provide simple and safe snacks and refreshments that minimize potential for transmission of illness.

No onsite registration will be possible in 2023 - you must pre-register online.

Race package pickup for pre-registered participants will be between 8:30 - 9:00 am. In addition to the usual race waiver, a COVID-19 declaration will also be required. Face masks will be recommended for race package pickup and hand sanitizer will be available. Social distancing (2 m separation) will be encouraged for race package pickup, safety briefing, and at the starting line and in the finish area.

The pre-race safety briefing will be held at 8:50 am.
